Sustainability

Throughout the years, we have witnessed a significant amount of waste and garbage during the construction and dismantling of expo stands. We take these concerns seriously and have decided to implement necessary sustainability measures in our Element company.

We are committed to promoting sustainable practices with regard to all wooden products and elements:

We exclusively collaborate with partners who provide wood from responsibly managed forests. These forests must be certified by credible organizations such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

Our objective is to reuse and recycle wooden elements for each booth construction. Materials such as DTD/LTD/OSB, plywood, and other timber products are repurposed in new booth production cycles.

Our wooden elements and boards are always protected with ABS edges. ABS edges safeguard the materials, particularly during transportation, to prevent damage. Additionally, the corners of each pallet are covered with hard paper for optimal protection. These measures allow us to utilize the produced pieces during booth assembly without the need for replacements. Moreover, these practices preserve the materials for future implementation.

When wooden elements reach the end of their usable life, we employ eco-friendly measures for recycling. Our suppliers provide us with special containers, which are returned to the factories where they are transformed into small particles. Subsequently, new wooden boards are created from these particles. Unused wooden dust is often repurposed for composting or the creation of fire bricks.

By implementing these practices, combining wooden elements with sustainability, we contribute to the conservation of forests, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and a more environmentally friendly and socially responsible approach to construction and design.
